A slow, contemplative pace (or not…)

I always want these first few weeks of fall to be slow and contemplative, but they’re usually more akin to a quick breath before the next sprint.

Tomorrow I’ll be packing up and heading out to Cincinnati for Woodworking in America. I’m looking forward to this for all sorts of reasons, not least of which is that I will finally have the opportunity to meet many of my virtual friends in person and to see the physical manifestation of the digital community we all work so hard to build. If you’re going to be there, look me up. I’ll be helping out with the conference sessions on Friday, but you can probably catch me around the marketplace trying out tools or hanging out at the Mortise & Tenon booth any other time.

I’ll be the tall guy with a beard. There probably won’t be too many of them around.

Wish I was going. Any chance you’ll be at Handworks?

    1. There’s a possibility, although it’s pretty slim at the moment.

  2. The beard quotient will be high for sure.
