Moving pictures

I have a strong aversion to watching myself on video. None the less, here I am trying to squeeze a year’s worth of work and reflection into just under seven minutes. I talk a lot in any given week, but I promise I don’t really talk this fast in real life.

This is the presentation I offered at the most recent York:Crafted event this past summer. I was pleased to be invited, and not utterly horrified with the result. Take it as you will.

The speed and rhythm were great. Thanks, very inspiring. Need to make some shavings now.

Awesome job. I really enjoyed reading the presentation a while back, but it’s nice to put a voice to the words.

  3. I was only disappointed there wasn’t any AMENs from the congregation. Well done.

    1. Haha, not my normal crowd, although those gathered were really receptive and I had some great conversations afterward.

  4. Jim Nice job!! – may I offer a suggestion for embedding YouTube vids? you can disable the suggestions at the end by un-checking the option ‘Show suggested videos when the video finishes’ that way viewers are not presented with a list of totally unrelated and often embarrassing options.
